Public transport (HVV)

Hamburg has a very convenient local transport system comprising local trains (“S-Bahn”), underground (“U-Bahn”), buses and harbour ferries. Please check the web-pages of the Hamburger Verkehrsverbund HVV below for time tables, fares, and maps of the different lines. Conference participants received a conference ticket with their welcome pack, which allowed for unlimited rides in the Hamburg area for the duration of the conference.
